How is BOHEMIA food different from other foods? Here are the 3 main differences:
1) How the food is made
2) What the food is made from
3) A sophisticated nutritional plan with the main goal of dietary diversity
How the food is made:
The food is mixed, not extruded. Ingredients are dried with hot air or freeze-dried. Slow hot air drying is the oldest, gentlest, and most natural method of preserving food that retains nutritional benefits, shelf life, and natural aroma. We do not add any synthetic additives.
What the food is made from:
All ingredients are sourced directly by us, either from slaughterhouses or already dried from suppliers, and we process and mix them ourselves into the final product. We know each ingredient in the composition and define it precisely, such as: heart, liver, ribs, lungs, etc... We offer a diverse diet for dogs from ingredients rich enough that we do not need to add any synthetic additives in any form.
A sophisticated nutritional plan:
We have created one of the most comprehensive nutritional plans that includes complete meals, side dishes, canned food, and treats. In complete recipes, you will find diversity not only in the animal part but also in the plant part at every stage of your dog's life. The complete diet is complemented by diverse side dishes to our meat cans or a piece of fresh meat that you might buy from your butcher. Finally, there are excellent dried treats from the best parts of the animal, which we’re not afraid to name, leg, breast, back, etc. This type of treat is not only a reward but especially the healthiest dietary supplement in the form of the highest quality proteins and essential amino acids, which are the basic building blocks of your dog and are part of almost everything in its organism.
Recommended dosage for puppies
From 8-10 weeks, we recommend gradually introducing BOHEMIA food into the diet. After 8 weeks, the recommended daily dosage is 2-3% of the puppy's current total weight.
Recommended dosage for adult dogs
From 12 months, we recommend 1-2% of the dog's current weight.
Recommended dosage for seniors
From 8 years, we recommend 1% of the current weight of the dog.
It is always necessary to monitor the dog, respond, and optimize the amount according to its current weight. If your dog is losing weight, increase the daily amount, and if it is overweight, decrease it.
How to serve
Pour hot water over the food 0.5 - 1 cm above the level of the mixture and let it soak and cool for a few minutes. Although it is already a complete food, you can also mix in additional meat from the Bohemia cans or other ingredients as desired.
The recipe meets nutritional values
